My earliest memory comes from when I was around 4 years old. I know from my parents that I started playing rugby at the same age. That means I literally cannot remember a time when I wasn’t playing sport. Sport took me across the Atlantic to Boston University, where I competed in the Decathlon. I now compete in the ACC for Duke University in the same event. I think of Decathlon as the ultimate problem to solve. Given my constraints of time in the week, energy, physical makeup, how do I maximize my overall athleticism?
